One Blog Post per Week is not Demanding

February 5th, 2012

It’s has been 2 years this blog exists. A personal blog including post about internet, Facebook, proxy and traveling web user.

All this while, this blog has been growing upwardly and persistently trying to post at least once per week.

One Blog post Per Week

That frequency is not demanding, however, considered as the minimum amount of regular post. How I hope I can blog almost everyday, 365 times a year. Or even 3 times per week.

Talking is cheap. Action speaks louder than words. I better stick on to my effort to post weekly.

This blog has 3 sub-domains. Sad to say, I would be tearing down the content soon and just focus on this http://Cyperwin.com.

That doesn’t mean lesser content in future. If my thoughts and hopes are elsewhere, it is impossible to set my focus steadily toward my blog post required.

There is another reason why I choose to have weekly post. Before saying more, I ought to emphasize as a valid reason, not a lame excuse.

I’m having 2 other blogs, i.e. http://PhotoPortraitPainting.com and http://ColorPaintingArt.com

PLUS… one more which I have just registered. It took me quite a while to consider having this new website blog. It will be a journal of my years spending in another South East Asia country.

I will be relocating to Taiwan, Tainan city. A beautiful country, rich in culture and friendly people.

Taipei city is the capital of Taiwan located in northern region, whereas Tainan is the oldest city in southern Taiwan.

Presently, I’m trying to spend time organizing the new website. I will be sharing the web address soon.

If you know about Tainan city in Taiwan, do share your thoughts by adding your comments. I would love to read them and learn from you.

How To Select Proxy Address

January 17th, 2012

There are endless numbers of proxy address available as free. I often use to login facebook while traveling in Vietnam.  Before we proceed to the free proxy list, I will have to share with you the basic of how to select proxy address.

Proxy Server, Basic concept

Proxy Address is a numeric label assigned as an intermediary gate to the desired website u be visiting. This label also called proxy server used for settings described here.

Choosing the proxy address can be determine by 3 basic filtering components. Namely, proxy type, proxy port, and proxy country.

Below technically describe the terms.

    1. Proxy Type ~
      • The level of anonymity for user. There are:-
        • Non-anonymous proxy server. For casual surfing of webpages. Example: Google search.
        • Anonymous proxy server. With certain degree of anonymity for web surfing. Example: Facebook Login.
        • Highly Anonymous proxy. Highly secured and for elite user. Example: Yahoo mail login.
    2. Proxy Port ~
      • Act as a listening channel to consolidate all internet request. Both proxy port and proxy address work in pairs, relying on each other to function or connect properly.
      • Most common proxy port is 8080, supporting web address with protocol beginning with “http://www…” and “https://www…”. The latter protocol is SSL; short for Secured Sockets Layer, a protocol for encrypting information over the Internet.
    3. Proxy Country ~
      • Location of proxy server. For example: If your physical location is in Vietnam, you might one to choose a proxy address located in Germany or United States. Virtually, you are also identify as one surfing from that chosen location. No concern if you don’t have any particular preference.
      • However, the security of Facebook Login will detect your login as an unidentified user of different country. Do not panic, just login and answer all the security questions by Facebook.

Here is another simple way of explaining above terms.

Let say you are an online seller.  You have to deliver the successfully sold item to your buyer by the chosen courier service. Or you could be a wholeseller delivering branded goods to supplier (intermediary gate) who later distribute (serve) to his customers living in smaller towns. Product could metaphorically refer to sending your internet requests as a package.

Before delivering your product to supplier’s address (Proxy Address), you need to know:-

  1. the province or country (Proxy Country) of the buyer’s residency you are sending to, and
  2. the shipping port (Proxy Port), airport, seaport or post office to consolidate all incoming goods.
  3. the degree of securing the product (Proxy Type). E.g. special packing, registered-article or just a simple plain mail.

Once you understand these 3 basic requirements, you may proceed to select your own proxy address that works for Facebook Login.

Try filtering the 3 components to search for the desired proxy address usable in Facebook Login.

Looking for Useful Proxy Listings for Facebook Users

January 4th, 2012

It is truly possible, no installation program is required to setup a proxy, so that one can login to Facebook without issues.

Login to Facebook using proxy does extensively help many users to easily access the popular social media, especially when facebook is blocked in some countries.

Among many posts I have written and published in this blog, this particular one has come to my attention that I need to further clarify the purpose of it.

If you are googling for keywords like “facebook login proxy”, you bound to receive search results of my blog with this specific post. Yet, one may not find a definite solution after reading in. The proxy Address and Port on the print screen has failed to function.

The purpose of that post is to provide a guide on How-to setup, and not What-in Facebook proxy. I have received friendly anonymous mails asking me for proxy list. As a typical facebook user, just like many geeks out there, I find my proxy address using search.

Some websites do provide free listings, however, some tag along with a premier cost. Well, that is fair enough to reason as: if one pay peanuts, one will get monkeys.

For coming weeks, I will be sharing some good sites which provide proxy listings.

Any of the sites you are using and want to recommend?

Facebook Login; Using Free Proxy Server or Paid Services?

July 11th, 2011

Proxy server that are often without maintenance, may encounter frequent network issues, such as poor connectivity. For most users, good proxy servers don’t consider connectivity issue as a major issues. For others, however, reliability and secured proxy server serve the utmost priority.

If proxy server is a gateway that you can use to login to Facebook, then it should be reliable to produce consistency in network connectivity, plus secured usage.

Technically speaking, when one owns a proxy server, he is also leasing a private line from a reputable service provider. Most cooperate companies and Asian travelers will purchase their own private proxy server. No doubt an amount of fee is incurred upon downloading the programs.Facebook Login Proxy

As ordinary web user like us, we may be more interested to have free proxy server, instead.

I’m sure there are many free proxy servers exist. On one note, you may have to compromise on the poor quality of this free stuff, in terms of speed and connectivity, but not giving up on the basic internet security. Password and content is your privacy, don’t you agree?

Since it’s a free proxy server, who will border to maintain and perform quality tests?

All these maintenance are beyond most web user’s capability. After all, we only want to login to Facebook to share with friends our traveling photos, status or catch up with our love ones.

Are you in the dilemma? If so, do you understand the basic difference between paid and free proxy server?

When you purchase a service from a private proxy server, those paid amount goes to the programmers, technical supports and maintenance team, whom has worked hard for you to keep their servers up and running at all time.

You are the customer; you pay them to deliver the service to you. At the peace of your mind, these experts dutifully perform their task. As simple as that.

So do I still recommend using free proxy server?

In my opinion, its about the choice from web user. If you are earning some incomes from Facebook or Twitter as a internet marketers, by all means, engage the service. Just pay a small fee to the service providers to maintained the proxy server for you. Generally, It will be more productive to channel your focus on gaining profit earnings

Or do you choose to spend time tweaking on configuration tools and proxy settings?

China-Facebook

Oh,, you are not on business purpose? No income to pay the service? Just want to login to Facebook? Students looking for freebies? (whom I used to be in my early days.).

Perhaps, a Facebook fanatic wouldn’t mind forking out some cash to do it.

Certainly, as students, this situation is understandable to sympathies about paying for a proxy server. You are only a temporary users, wanting to social with friends online.

Frankly speaking, it’s a pain in the ass, especially for backpackers traveling to China or Vietnam. Facebook login is almost impossible without a proxy server.

Below is an excerpt that I have read from a traveling blog.

I can’t get onto Facebook here (China), I could if I download some program which will cost me £5 , which will then direct me to an outside server but to be honest I am not missing Facebook that much so I have no way to answer your messages.

To most internet social addicts, saying that you are not missing Facebook is a perfectly perfect white lie. (Joke aside.)

First of all, to every web users reading this post. Getting a free proxy server by your own is not at all difficult. It may be a bit of bother for searching and updating it frequently.

As a novice traveller in Asia countries, I have successfully log into Facebook using free proxy server is possible.

Till next blog, I shall be sharing on How to search for free proxy server. How to use them, identifying the right and secured server. And some basic technical terms that is explained in simple meaning.
