Downloaded Gentoo ISO minimal. CD bootable

This is the file I previously downloaded. Have tried to to boot up from IBM t42, but encounter problem…. Same as before.
Has been optimizing the IBM T42. Disabling a number processes and services at startup, from 47 to 22 processes. Now able to boot within a minute, shutdown with 15 secs. Install all my programs and browsers. Mainly, to do and tweak whatever it is necessary to burn-in the hardware, and getting ready for Gentoo installation.
Has got back my IBM t42 after a week of repair. Motherboard and hard dish was changed. So far after hours of usage, not screen freeze has happened. Will continue to use this set for another 6 days. If everything is good, I will proceed to build Gentoo OS.
