List of Anonymous Web Proxies (Mostly Free!)

March 10th, 2011 by Edwin No comments »

Here is a post, much related to Anonymous Web Proxy.

A friend of mine has called me this morning, questioning on why am I not given a list of Anonymous Web Proxies that I have posted 2 days ago. Well, I have just given KProxy.com as an example, and also as a temporary solution to unblock and access to Facebook.com anonymously.

In fact, one of the visitors was very helpful to provide a better web proxy in his comment.

Anonymous Web Proxies

Anonymous Web Proxies

Before I share with the rest of the readers on more Anonymous Web Proxy, (especially for those with great concern on accessing Facebook.com), I would like to explain a little more about Anonymous Web Proxy.

What Is Anonymous Web Proxy?
Web proxy will hide your IP address from the source website whilst allowing internet surfers the opportunity to anonymously surf their favorite websites, without altering any configuration of the browser, e.g Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.

How Anonymous Web Proxy works?
As you surf through the proxy website, request sent will be carried forward bypassing its given server as a buffer. It then download the requested web pages and files, and re-forward them back to the user.

There are too many web proxies that one can use. There are free and pay services. Some provide continuous popping of annoying ads, as you surf facebook.com through their web. There are also slow and traffic-congested web proxies. Usually, pay service will provide a faster and secure browsing.

So the questions are where is the list of web proxies? Are their status checked? and How many days has it been up and running?

I don’t have any recommendation of a good web proxy. However, here is a how-to on choosing the better ones.
Try surfing to below link to gain more choices of getting a newer web proxies.
There are hundreds of them for you to choose and try it out. It is frequently updated and checked on its working status.

On one important note, any surfers who use web proxies, always log in to Facebook.com using the safer connection. i.e. Secure browsing (“https”) protocol.

If the web proxy fails to surf you the web page, it just meant there don’t support (“https”) protocol. Skip and try another web proxy.

How is it going? Found any Alternatives for facebook Login?

March 8th, 2011 by Edwin 2 comments »

I was just wondering on the ‘silence’ of my last post 3 days ago. No comments on the outcome of using anonymous web proxy to login to Facebook.

Unexpectedly, I did received a few comments on the post about Logging in to Facebook using Lisp4.facebook.com. The comment was almost immediate within 4 hours of that post.

Alternatives for Facebook Login

Alternatives for Facebook Login

Nevertheless, that kinda of ‘quiet response’ is not surprising, since anonymous web proxies are abundant all over world wide web. Free and pay services. I use that as my temporary alternatives for logging to Facebook, still not the best, though.

For the past few days, I have been enjoying my time accessing to Facebook with ease, occasionally, slower speed in bandwidth. That newer way of logging in doesn’t border me much, as long as it meets the 3 most important aspects of internet surfing. (Based on an occasional surfer, or Facebook’s Addict)

  1. Securitythe capability to reduce potential risk of break-ins for computer internet accounts and personal details by cyber theft. (See the difference of words between ‘cyber’ and ‘cyper’, its affect the image of my web address significantly, as in http://CyperWin.com. No criminal act on this blog, I’m trying to convey)
  2. Privacythe ability to control what information one reveals about oneself over the Internet, and to control who can access that information. (No website is always safe, however, with a controlled process to achieve a certain degree of privacy)
  3. Anonymitythe subtlety to ensure transmitting of internet information with considerable assurance of one’s identify not being revealed publicly. (This only 99% guaranteed since IP addresses, in principle, can be tracked)

So How is it going at your end? Found any Alternatives for facebook Login?

Log in to Facebook using Anonymous Web Proxy

March 4th, 2011 by Edwin No comments »

Below showing another alternative to log in to Facebook.com. I have been using this anonymous web proxy for a a period of time. Also known as web re-directors.

There are too many anonymous web proxy you can find. Some comes with annoying advertisement, where it starts to pop-up while you surf to Facebook.com. I would recommend KProxy.com

https://KProxy.com/index.jsp

https://KProxy.com/index.jsp

It comes with free and paid services. Free proxy is what I often go for, however, users have to compromise on the slower speed. Occasionally, server busy due to high usage traffic. If that happens, do a hard refresh by holding Control+F5. Or simply F5 to reload pages.

As you can see on the tagline “KProxy works great with Facebook. We have fixed it at nearly 100%. Test it!”. I personally experiencing  surfing through this proxy with moderate satisfaction. Mainly the reason is because its free. Otherwise, you may tried the paid services.

While using this site, you have to take note. Always use the SSL/TLS protocol to provide encryption and secured login to Facebook . Meaning, ‘http’, with the ‘s’ Secured; (i.e is “https://”). Apply it on Kproxy.com and Facebook.com

The 2 links as below. Follow the print-screen shown above.

Hope the above will temporary help for those facebook surfers in HCM city.

Free to comment on the feedback of using this proxy at your end.

Logging in to Facebook Using Lisp4.facebook.com

March 3rd, 2011 by Edwin 11 comments »

Logging in to Facebook while traveling in Vietnam can be quite a dread for a happy vagabond, in particularly, for those who are so cling on to Facebook social networking. (Or specifically saying it ‘Facebook is addictive’).

Despite being banned officially by the country’s authorities, many updates on how-to has also written in techies blogs and websites. If you do a search over the internet, there are numbers of ways to access to Facebook anonymously.

Well, I admit I’m a Facebook addict, albeit not the most high profile ones among the list of friends. I’m just like many travelers, wanting to contact with your dearest family and catching up with closest friends through Facebook.

A few ways have already tried, including the one I have blog 1 year ago. “How to log in Facebook while traveling in Vietnam. That method of changing DNS server works, if you stay in Hue’s Backpacker Hostel located right in the middle of Imperial capital City of Vietnam. That happened 10 days ago, hopefully, it still work as good after reading this. Elsewhere in Vietnam, failed to even surf to the Facebook.com

Two UK’s female travelers staying in that hostel has got my help on the DNS settings, after noticing my 11” Lenovo Thinkpad with Facebook on my favorite browser. I can see their facial expression radiant with overwhelming joy, on successful log in to Facebook with ease.

I will be updating the blog with the same settings, however, only for Windows 7 Operating Systems.

If the above settings don’t work, try another alternative below. You will get the usual feeds, mails, and chat from the normal log in. Please click on.

https://apps.lisp4.facebook.com/login.php

This site belongs to Facebook.com. It is a sub-domain with SSL/TLS protocol to provide encrypted communication and secured log-in. Take note “https”, not “http”’. The letter ‘s’ depict ‘Secured’. Often seen in internet-banking or Gmail login.

PS: There is no guaranteed ways that what has described here is always good and successful. I’m also trying out other methods, which I hope to blog soon.
